LEANERS UAB (hereinafter referred to as the "Data Controller") hereby establishes the terms and conditions for the processing of personal data through the use of the websites operated by the Data Controller. The terms and conditions set out in the T&C apply each time you access the content and/or service we provide, regardless of the device (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) you use.

Supervisory authorities:  

Data on the data controller is collected and stored in the Vilnius branch of the State Enterprise Centre of Registers.

It is very important that you read the T&Cs carefully, because each time you visit websites or social networking accounts belonging to the Data Controller, you agree to the terms and conditions described in these T&Cs. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not visit our websites/social networking accounts or use our content and/or services.

We confirm that the Data Controller's websites and social media accounts will collect the data of visitors in accordance with the requirements of the applicable European Union and Republic of Lithuania legislation, as well as the instructions of the controlling authorities. All reasonable technical and administrative measures are in place to ensure that the data we collect about visitors to our websites and social networking accounts is protected against loss, unauthorised use and alteration.

Employees of the Data Controller are under a written obligation not to disclose or distribute to third parties any information obtained in the workplace, including information about visitors to the websites.

Individuals who are under the age of 16 may not provide any personal data for marketing activities through our website(s) and social media accounts. If you are a person who is under the age of 16, you must obtain the consent of your parents or other legal guardians before submitting personal information for marketing purposes).

What information do we collect about you? How do we use your information?

We collect the information you provide directly.
Our websites and social media accounts give you the opportunity to submit information directly to us. For example, at www.leaners.eu, we ask you to provide certain information about yourself (email address) if you would like to receive our newsletters.

We will disclose your information to the following entities:
- other data controllers belonging to LEANERS Ltd;
- other parties where required by law or necessary to protect the information society services we provide.

  • to have access to his/her data and how they are processed (right of access);

  • to request the rectification or, taking into account the purposes of the processing of personal data, the completion of personal data which are incomplete (right to rectification);

  • to have your data erased or to stop processing (other than storage) (right to erasure and right to be forgotten);

  • require the Data Controller to restrict the processing of personal data on one of the legitimate grounds (right to restrict);

  • the right to data portability (right to portability);

  • the right to object to the processing of his/her personal data or to withdraw his/her consent at any time to the processing of personal data for one or more specified purposes, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on consent prior to the withdrawal of consent.

  • The controller may exclude data subjects from exercising the above rights where, in cases provided for by law, it is necessary to ensure the prevention, investigation and detection of criminal offences, breaches of official or professional ethics, as well as the protection of the data subject's or other persons' rights and freedoms.

 

Third party websites, services and products on our websites
The Data Controller's website(s) or social media accounts may contain third-party banners, links to their websites and services that are not under the Data Controller's control. The Data Controller is not responsible for the security and privacy of information collected by third parties. You should be careful to read the privacy statements applicable to the third-party websites and services that you use.

Final provisions
These ToR shall be reviewed at least once every two years. When we update the TOS, we will inform you of what we consider to be material changes by posting a notice on the relevant website(s) or social media accounts. If you access or use our content and/or services after the posting of such a notice, we will assume that you have accepted the new terms set out in the update.
